Apart from understanding the difference between credit and debit, I learned basics of handling finance of a company. From managing expenses to determining the various heads of expenses that the company has. This also gave me good understanding towards pricing and costing of products and services.

Another lesson learnt was when emotions start driving the finance. Once revenue starts coming in, spending tends to increase proportionally. A lesson learnt was that of, to be able to postpone any spending till it is absolutely necessary.
