Objective: To design a bag clip that can be used to seal poly bags containing various edible and non edible items. The sealing quality was supposed to ensure that even liquids can be easily stored inside the bag when sealed with this clip.

1. I was totally new to manufacturing and plastics industry.
2. Finding a right tooling partner who can deliver on time and with quality.
3. There is no rapid prototyping available for PP like materials. specially if one wants to test living hinge
4. PP is flexible enough to easily bulge. The design was required to ensure that the clip does not deform easily even when thicker poly bags are used.

Solution: After a series of various designs of the clip, finally a double sealing clip turned out to be a right solution. There were two parts of the clip that ensured a better sealing than any other available clip in market. for more details please visit www.enovitech.com/ceeld.html
